This program needs fresh bodies, next year a lot of pressure on frosh. But they should get a chance to show right away. We also need to use cohens scollie on a transfer from a higher profile program. Last year was fun at the end but it was this same story for 20 losses. Program needs to focus on getting better!

Better be Malachi. He was the only one who looked like he had the ability and willingness to play today.
The only redeeming hope is that we are getting all the stinkers out of the way; RC is still obviously hurt and will get healthier; AT will learn before he graduates that he should not drive straight to the basket with 3 much taller players in front of him; CLS and Ziggy start playing to their potential; CWC has an epiphany that it is OK to actually have his players at least attempt to get offensive rebounds; and give his "good" shooters a green light to attempt open shots when you are trying to make up a big deficit before the shot clock gets below 5 seconds.

Navy EFG of 60%, made 59% of their twos. The only way for this team to compensate for its persistently awful shooting defense is to have a significant advantage in turnovers and rebound respectably at the defensive end. Didn't do either today, with a season high 19 TOs of our own (same as Navy), and just a shade over 50% of the available rebounds of Navy misses.
I rarely hear Carmody talk about defense - honestly, this needs to be part of the recruiting profile, not just whether a kid can dribble, shoot, and pass.

The alma mater of Bob Cousy, Tommy Heinsohn, Togo Palazzi, Ron Perry Jr et. al. now languishes in a league that about 17 people here and bison137 care about and that's about it....think about that for a moment.

So the Colgate game on Wednesday at home becomes another game similar to the Lafayette and American games at home. A win is badly needed in order to stay moderately relative in the league and stop the bleeding. We will see what happens.

Hardly anyone cares....ask your friends, family and neighbors....a basketball game against Colgate? About as irrelevant as it comes....
Just sayin'.....we simply have to get out of this league for basketball. Nothing new on my pahht, I know, but it's not helping the school or the program....didn't we hire Nate Pine to figure this out?

Total team effort. Awful. Navy is bad, but they are better than us. Someone mentioned above coach may want to make some changes? What changes? Who is he going to put in?

We could and should fight back and not accept this.....the basketball program should at the very least be in the A-10 if not the New Big East....people in O'Kane/Fenwick need to wake up......

I'm not saying they are now....but we should be aggressive in pursuing this....I'll ask you this: "By what objectivable measure is Holy Cross considered a bettah school since it joined the Patriot League?"
I could give a few why it's now considered a worse school.

Holy Cross was more highly regahhded by high schools and grad schools in 1985 before we joined the Patriot League: fact.

Go MAAC. Leave fball in the PL. Return to our historical New England/Mid-Atlantic sports focus. That will revive us.

Man of the game? Pts. Rebs. Assts. TOs Blks Steals MA 11 5 3 4 1 3 AT 10 2 2 4 0 3 at must have received extra credit for having multiple airballs and shots blocked seriously, i agree that ma had the best game for us today. but that's a "tallest midget" award if there ever was one. we were bad across the board. not sure what's up with kc, but he only attempted two shots?!? his foul trouble, all the recent charges, and back-to-back games with just one field goal is disappointing. p.s. - was glad to hear carmody talk about reducing minutes for regulars who aren't performing. i know the options are limited, but it's long overdue.
