Saw Daniel Friday of U-D Jesuit tonite. See page 19 of this thread. Would be an excellent recruit for us. About 6’3 with a stocky build. Played the point. Very good passer. Had at least 6-7 assists. 6 for 8 from the floor with a great variety of shots (several 3s, a baseline dunk, several 10-15 jumpers and a few drives to the hoop). Decent rebounder in traffic. On D, covered the opponent’s best player, Luke Pfromm (about 6’6” and a D-1 Quarterback). Gave up only 4-5 points in 3 qtrs. playing man to man and full court pressure D. From what I see in the Detroit papers, he has had some MAC offers and is getting a few sniffs from BCS programs.
Hopefully, our staff’s early interest (I heard reports over the summer that HC was at several R.E.A.C.H. Legends AAU games) will bear fruit.

Impressive Only caveat is that the competition is pretty weak ? Greens Farms plays in the Fairchester AA, same conference as St. Luke's (where BU found Walter Whyte) - NEPSAC Class B, not bad. Lawrence registered a triple-double (12 points, 24 rebounds, 10 blocks) Wednesday night vs. Masters School - unfortunately, 13 of the rebounds were offensive, so probably not our kind of guy.

Do you know what NBA team is #28(of 30) in offensive rebounding ? the Warriors Virginia—same idea same philosophy—limit fast breaks, and set up the 5 defenders to prevent early offensive advantages, such as early open 3s. I realize that our set defenses are weak, but fast breaks and early, open shots would make matters even worse.

Is the GSW stat the total number of O rebounds or % of missed shots that were rebounded by the offense?

Is the GSW stat the total number of O rebounds or % of missed shots that were rebounded by the offense? The average of offensive rebounds per game. They attempt the most or second most shots

Is the GSW stat the total number of O rebounds or % of missed shots that were rebounded by the offense?Warriors rank 21st (of 30) in OR% this year, 17th last yeat - bottom 40-45 percent of the league, but far from total capitulation.

They do not have as any opportunities for offensive rebounds as most/all other teams simply because they make such a high % of their FGA Their strategy is to retreat on their own shots to prevent fast break and early offense opportunities, esp open 3s

Hopefully playing decent comp in AAU...Cape Ann League not particularly good even by Mass. standards. You don't find many great ballers on the mean streets of Rockport and Ipswich.

Wasn't "Mass Elite" once called "high mass" by Catholics?
