Here is my list, as of today, of the 19 recruits reportedly offered by Holy Cross who (as far as I know based on public information) remain uncommitted.
(The numbers should correlate to the offer number previously reported for the recruit during the course of this thread.)
***
1. RB BENJAMIN LANDRY, 5-7, 170, Catholic HS, New Iberia, LA
7. DB BRIAN THOMPSON, 6-0, 170, East Nashville Magnet HS, Nashville, TN
13. OL RYAN WICHMANN, 6-5, 280, Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy, Cincinnati, OH
22. DB BRASSIR STOCKER, 6-0, 180, Downingtown East HS, Exton, PA
23. TE BRYCE DE MAILLE, 6-3, 225, Oakdale HS, Ijamsville, MD
28. RB TREY FLOWERS, 5-10, 210, Miami Palmetto HS, Miami, FL
37. LB JACE WATERS, 6-2, 200, Allen HS, Allen, TX
45. QB CADEN PRIESKORN, 6-6, 215, St. Mary’s Prep, Orchard Park, MI
50. DB MILES OLDACRE, 6-0, 190, Klein Oak HS, Spring, TX
54. TE ANDREW WHITE, 6-5, 235, GlenOak HS, Canton, OH
71. WR ETHAN BIBB, 5-10, 175, Louisville Male HS, Louisville, KY
79. RB JUSTIN BRUNO, 6-2, 200, Lambert HS, Suwanee, GA
89. WR/DB NOLAN KIMMEY, 6-1, 180, University of Detroit Jesuit HS, Detroit, MI
97. RB TRE McMILLAN, 5-11, 195, Dacula HS, Dacula, GA
101. DB AARON REYNOLDS, 6-0, 170, Lee HS, Montgomery, AL
103. LB ZACH ANGELILLO, 6-2, 220, San Joaquin HS, Fresno, CA
118. DL CODY BENJAMIN, 6-5, 245, Berkeley Prep, Tampa, FL
119. DB JORDAN COLBERT, 6-2, 185, Gonzaga College HS, Washington, DC
121. TE ROBERT FRENCH, 6-5, 230, Bartram Trail HS, Jacksonville, FL

In my opinion, Holy Cross may no longer be actively recruiting some of these players.

I may have asked this before but we have so many offerees being "blessed" to get an offer from Holy Cross. Is this because they think we are still a seminary? I mean, are they equally "blessed" if they get an offer from Yale or Lehigh or . . . . ? No - Just common vernacular for that age group in present-day society.

So, 67, the answer to my question is actually "yes," not "no." Since they are "blessed" by an offer by almost any college, they are thankful to get it (i.e. "blessed").

Wow--Jackson, Missouri--small town near Cape Girardeau, right where the Midwest meets the South, spent a lot of time there in the 1980's when I was based in St Louis.

We're probably unlikely to get (and may not want) a commitment from a kid who thinks we are the "University of Holy Cross". smdh

Will check with sources regarding # 45 on Breezy’s list (QB Caden Prieskorn) and report back. According to some reports, he may be a better hooper than gridder.

In the case of this recruit, that thought was reinforced when I saw that he had previously referred to his walk-on offer from the "University of Fordham."

Yes-- I'll bet there are recruits who post about being blessed to receive an offer from "the university of Indiana" when it is properly "indiana university" , or who hear from the University of Kansas and refer to it, logically, as " U of K" when "KU" is proper. If the kid can play ball we can quickly educate him on the name of pur college

I'll bet there are some who omit the "THE" from The Ohio State. With some critics posting that "no one knows" where or what the College of the Holy Cross is, we should be pleased to see that a recruit got most of the college's name correct.

Shades of a kid during the Allen era who had the same rep...only played football and was not very good at that. And the varsity hoop players who played pickup with him said his choice of football was, to be kind, the correct one.l

Does this mean we have offered him a Scholarship and Fordham/ Toledo offered him a roster spot (no schollie) as a 'preferred walk on".Or does it mean we have offered him PWO also? Or is that impossible to determine?

There is nothing that would indicate whether our offer involves a scholarship or a preferred walk-on opportunity.
