Wow! She wil be a difference maker for the Crusaders! See is a recent story about her.
Villa Maria’s girls basketball team returned to Hershey this season despite losing four starters to graduation.
Two of the Victors’ leaders were rewarded by being named to the all-state team. Madison Demski was voted to the Class 4A first team and Molly Mraz was named to the second team as the Pennsylvania Girls Basketball All-State teams were released on Saturday. Demski, a 6-foot 2-inch junior and Erie Times-News District 10 Player of the Year, has collected multiple major Division I offers and led Villa Maria with 12.5 points per game this season. She was a force in the postseason, including 25 points in the PIAA semifinals against Lancaster Catholic and 20 points in the second round against Blackhawk.
“It’s very exciting and I’m very happy,” Demski said. “I have to give a lot of credit to coach (Doug) Chuzie and my teammates for pushing me in practice every day. I think it was around our trip to Florida that Molly and I knew that we were going to be leaders this season, and it really paid off getting to the state championship game.” Demski said she has narrowed her list of college choices to five and could commit in the next month or so.
Demski and Mraz will both be back next year looking to lead Villa to its third-straight trip to Hershey.
Madison Demski, Villa Maria. 6-2, Jr., 12.5
Welcome aboard Madison. You will love being a Crusader!

Looking at her picture with knee supports, has she had any knee issues?

Youngstown State for sure. One paper said she had "at least dozen Division 1 offers," but they were not specified.

Those look like knee pads, not knee braces. I like the 20+ points in state playoff games.

Maddie & her teammate Sydney Palermo also 6'2 were both offered a while ago, Palermo recently committed to Bowling Green. As I understand it both were high priority recruits. Kid can play, to be honest thought she would go either Ivy or higher. Fifth player to commit form the Villa. She joins fellow D-1 commits Andrea McCormick (Columbia) and Molly Mraz (Richmond) along with D-3 commit Autumn Byes (Penn State Behrend).

Uh, no NLI signed yet. I've learned to not count chickens before they're hatched when it comes to verbals to Holy Cross.

Youngstown State for sure. One paper said she had "at least dozen Division 1 offers," but they were not specified. She had 10 other offers - Youngstown, St Francis, Canisius, Manhattan, Detroit, Brown, Loyola (MD), UMBC, Bona, and Colgate. That is from her twitter account and that of her school.

Uh, no NLI signed yet. I've learned to not count chickens before they're hatched when it comes to verbals to Holy Cross. I can't honestly remember the last time a women's basketball player decommitted. Happens all the time in football but much less so in basketball.

Demski considered Ivy League schools like Brown and Dartmouth, plus other Patriot League members, before settling on Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. She’ll play for Bill Gibbons, who just completed his 32nd season in charge of the Crusaders.
“It was hard to pick and choose (a college),” Demski said. “But in the end, what truly set apart Holy Cross was that it reminded me of Villa as far as having a family atmosphere. I felt like I’d already been there.”
