Wonder if the Brooklyn address has any significance ? Kenny Atkinson would love MM The only likely significance it has is that he has location enabled on his acct, and Bkyln is where he happened to be when he posted the tweet.

Wonder if the Brooklyn address has any significance ? Kenny Atkinson would love MM Nets already have 14 fully guaranteed contracts and four partially-guaranteed. Not likely to have any interest in adding anyone.

My God! I watched the tweet on the Malcolm Miller post about a police stop. Terrifying! We live in a bubble that we don't recognize.(please note lack of response to my Aretha eulogy.) We must stop being defensive about our own short sightedness and open up our hearts and reach out to all in Christian love. We are all brothers/sisters in God's love. Malcolm, my young brother, please stay safe! Love HC step 1 - speak for yourself. you don't know the first thing about where others here live or what we do for a living. step 2 - check this holier than thou BS at the door. nobody here asked for your judgmental opinion on what's defensive or short-sighted. carry on

Since I don't do twitter and suspect neither do many others here, I have no idea what this post about a police stop is all about. Unless and until someone posts more specifics, this looks like it'll be between dado and mm67.

This maybe
I was in the car with 3 of my teammates and got pulled over at a red light RIGHT after we just played a game. Apparently my air freshener was an obstruction of view so they had to “check it out”. Top 5 scariest moments of my life and this was before all the shootings went viral

I just realized that Malcolm was unquestionably being facetious ("haha" being the tip off). Like all alums, if there is any problem with Holy Cross and her alums it is too much communication, especially when it comes to asking for $$$.

Curious tweet from Malcolm today: The last 9-10 years of HC basketball have been an unmitigated disaster. And the idea that HC should be bowing down to Malcolm Miller is laughable.

It’s not about “bowing down”. It’s about making alums fee like they’re important to the program. It’s important to build that sense of community across players from different eras. Chesney gets this and that’s one of many reasons I think he’ll be very successful.

While I don't understand most of that contract-speak, it sure sounds like they really like him and feel he can be a contributor and willing to invest some money into getting him well. I hope that pays off for them and Malcolm.

Not positive, but I think the contract he signed is a 10 game contract....Just a way to get him back in the organization with little monetary risk...Good for him, and the rehab for that labrum injury is not easy....good that he will be in a good rehab situation for his career! Great for him!!

I believe that it is not a 10 game contract, but a G league contract that guarantees more money than the average, provided he remains with the raptors G league team. I think teams are allotted 2 of these deals I

I believe that it is not a 10 game contract, but a G league contract that guarantees more money than the average, provided he remains with the raptors G league team. I think teams are allotted 2 of these deals I Basically, an Exhibit 10 contract allows a player to make a bonus if he goes back to his G League affiliate if cut by the NBA team, rather than go overseas to play. Exhibit 10 players can make up to $50,000 in bonus money if they stay with the G League team for at least 60 days rather than sign overseas. An Exhibit 10 contract can be converted into a "two-way" contract, which could pay the player even more money, depending on whether or not he plays for the NBA team for 45 or more days. After he's played in the NBA 45 days, his G League deal can be converted to an NBA minimum contract. This is good news for Malcolm, believe me.

Almost as complicated as an insurance contract, which I thankfully don't have to interpret anymore since I retired.

Twitter [EDIT: I read the Raptors Republic article, so nothing new] had a good explanation, and I think it was either a Raptors or an NBA writer who just added a bit more detail to what NJJ wrote above.
They seem to think that the $50k is going to be given to Malcom no matter what. He'll have full access to the 909 (G-league team's) medical staff to aid in recovery. He's well liked among the players, and the front office, so this is a bit of a "good break" for him rather than a "bad break." The writer also said that when the 909 top tier player went down last year, Malcom stepped up and his stats went up too. They think that he's been asked to guard oversized players in the "3 and D" role, and never complained. As a result, they think they can expand his skill set a bit more and see his stats go even higher.
The two-way guys for the Raptors I also though I read were already designated. With a January return, the thought is that another G-league team could actually scoop him up and make him one of their two-way players... so either he can collect even more if/when he gets healthy and get a shot to play up.

Malcolm could start for my Knicks right now with one arm so that’s an option as well.
