From The Denver Post:
Raymond impresses
Wide receiver Kalif Raymond missed some of the Broncos’ organized team activities in June with an injured finger. Now, he’s making up for lost time.
Raymond, who is battling for a roster spot at receiver, performed well during the Broncos’ preseason game at Chicago on Thursday and was one of the offensive standouts during the first two days of practice this week.
“He’s an impressive person,” Joseph said. “He’s always engaged. He’s very fast. He’s a tough-minded guy. I’ve been impressed with him.”

'92 gave us the quote from Broncos head coach Vance Joseph but nice to hear him say it. Listen to him talk about Kalif from 3:35 until 4:20 in this clip: Vance Joseph on Kalif Raymond (3:35)

From BSN Denver's players to watch in preseason Game 2 article:
WR Kalif Raymond (19)
Just when nearly everyone wrote off Raymond’s time with the Broncos, he had potentially his biggest performance in his one-year NFL career during the team’s first preseason game against the Chicago Bears. He had such an impressive performance, in fact, that Joseph said Raymond had the three biggest non-defensive plays of the game—a kick return, a punt return and a pass from Kyle Sloter.
With Isaiah McKenzie already named the starting punt returner for the regular season, Raymond will have to prove his worth to the Broncos first and foremost as a wide receiver. Leading up to the second preseason game against San Francisco, Raymond has done just that, too.
During Tuesday’s practice, Raymond was on the receiving end of arguably the two biggest plays of the day—a third-down reception from Lynch and a 40-yard touchdown pass from Siemian.
“Kalif has been really, really solid in all phases of the game, return game and third-down slot,” Joseph said. “So he’s been impressive.”
Earlier in the week, Joseph said the 5-foot-9 receiver was “competing” to make the team. If Raymond wants to earn one of the 53 spots on the team, he’ll need to put together more than just one great game during the preseason. With Emmanuel Sanders questionable for Saturday’s game and Carlos Henderson out, Raymond will get his opportunity.

It gets more and more comical each time I read about McKenzie already being "named" as the starting punt returner for the regular season over a month before the start of the season. Even taking Kalif out of the equation, you have a new head coach who feels like he needs to announce his presence, intelligence, strength, whatever by telling reporters they can "print it" referring to his freakin PUNT RETURNER. What an absolute fool. And some people still wonder why Belichick has his way with the guys who are coaching in the NFL right now.

From 9News article on priorities for tomorrow's game against the 49ers:
FIND BACKUP RECEIVER
No. 2 receiver Emmanuel Sanders (shoulder) probably won’t play and No. 4 or 5 Cody Latimer (knee) may not either. Their absences from practices Wednesday and Thursday moved Jordan Taylor and Kalif Raymond up the depth chart so that they were playing with the second unit.
It could turn out Taylor and Raymond are competing for the final roster slot on the Broncos’ 53-man roster.

From SB Nation:
Broncos offensive bubble player to watch for The wide receiver position is heavy in numbers and there is one guy that is likely expendable that should be on a final 53-man roster and that is Kalif Raymond. He has had himself an amazing camp and looks like dynamite in the return game. Unfortunately for him, the Denver Broncos drafted Isaiah McKenzie.
The two players are smaller and faster, so basically the same kind of wide receiver. That fact makes it highly unlikely that Raymond makes the team despite making some huge leaps this year. Some team is going to get lucky when they pick up this guy off the waivers. Then again, maybe Denver keeps both.

Turns out Kalif is "sick" in Madden Mobile as well per my kids. I'm told that is a positive comment.

I hope I'm wrong, but this sounds a lot like a replay of his tryout last year, and for reasons other than his abilities he doesn't make the roster again this year. I hope he finds a team who wants him

I hope I'm wrong, but this sounds a lot like a replay of his tryout last year, and for reasons other than his abilities he doesn't make the roster again this year. I hope he finds a team who wants him I think the difference is that he's much more of a known commodity this year and he's definitely a much more complete football player than he was a year ago. I don't think there's any chance he doesn't make someone's 53-man roster if the Broncos make the mistake of releasing him.

If Kalif doesn't make the roster he should tell his agent to immediately pitch him to other teams and if the agent isn't successful, Kalif should fire him. Kalif has already demonstrated his loyalty to the Broncos.

I'm just guessing, but I'll bet his agent would rather get the commission on a 53-man roster salary than on a practice squad salary. I'm confident the agent will respond with alacrity if Kalif does not make the Broncos roster

Yes but you can never be sure. I'm quite confident that there are many many folks in this board who worked in completely unrelated industries that know far more about being an agent than someone who does it professionally.

Only started watching in the second half. So far, Kalif has fielded a kickoff in the end zone for a touchback. Haven't seen him play receiver. He did not appear in the first half box score. Unfortunately, the Broncos are up by 3 scores so they might not be throwing a lot late.

Kalif just had a punt return for no gain late in the third. There were 5 penalties on the play. None was on Kalif.

Because there were offsetting penalties, SF punted again, and Kalif returned the ball for about eight yards. Made an initial move, made a defender miss, and got positive yardage.
Play by play man questioned whether Holy Cross even had a football program.

They re-kicked and Kalif made a nice move to get a handful of yards. Then the announcers asked each other if they knew they played football at Holy Cross. But they said some nice things about Kalif.
