I don't know anything about her, but the RI Breakers, her AAU team, has been a very good program for a long time. Good coaches and they play a very competitive schedule..Moses Brown HS, when I was coaching AAU, had a carpeted floor on the basketball court! Very strang go play a game there, the sound of the game is sooooo different!!

The Breakers have sent a number of players to HC over the years, although I think Oluchi is the first since Meredith Ward. She apparently committed in early June

She sounds like a real difference maker, and a perfect fit for Holy Cross! I loved this in her Gatorade Player of the Year announcement:
Ezemma has volunteered locally as part of community beautification projects and at a food bank and homeless shelter. “Oluchi creates matchup nightmares for every opposing team and can take over a game all by herself,” said George Coderre, head coach of Cumberland High. “She makes all of her teammates considerably more effective.”
Welcome, Oluchi!

I'm not criticizing this recruit but (as we do with other major sports) I cannot get excited until I know who else was recruiting her. We are a 2nd division team in a lousy league, and we need to recruit 'up' to get back where this program belongs. Does anyone know what this young lady's options were ?

Binghamton reportedly offered last August. No other offers reported on the internet that I could find but that doesn't mean there weren't others. The only mention I could find of her being connected to HC was a single tweet that she had verballed.

Nice piece! I note that her older sister plays at Clark. Second team all NEWMAC. I noticed that the UMaine women won their conference and are going to the NCAAs. Four of their starting five are from Spain, Israel, Canada and Sweden. Does HC recruit out of the US?

Other than American, I'm not generally aware of any of the PL teams recruiting very much overseas. Typically, if one pops up on a roster there is some type of connection with the school or referral to the coach. In part, I'm sure it is a budget issue.
