The discussion on another thread about Holy Cross family ties, leads me to this poll.
It would be interesting if you not only pick a number but tell us the family connections and number of generations of Crusaders.
Hopefully, this is something that will just be a fun thing to do.

I was the first. Two cousins ( both board members) came next. one of those cousins had 3 of his children go to HC Two of my children (03,06) followed. one cousin's son(not an HC grad, but whose brothers were) Another cousin's (also not an HC grad,)son('10) another non HC cousin's son If you count a cousin in law, who married her classmate(the immediately above cousin) and her grandfather i believe that is 13

One of my boys is applying for a job at BC. Last night he called to talk about it. We were counting up the relatives we have who have gone there. Sadly it is 10.

I'm going to claim 12, and we have at least one graduate in each of the last 6 decades.
Starts with me ('69), my twin brothers ('73), my "little brother" ('82), my daughters ('97 and '00), three nephews ('00, '05, and '09), one niece ('11), and two spouses of nephews ('00 and '05).
Looking forward to my granddaughter to continue the streak ('29).

Just me...my sons were interested, but HC was not. They did very well at other Jesuit colleges...not BC (thank goodness).

This thread reveals the source of the fanaticism Extremism in the pursuit of Purple is no vice. I think that's what Goldwater said. Or something like that.

RGS, 50% of my offspring went to HC. That's why my kudos to 8485 for 100% of his. The other 50% of mine also went to another Jesuit school, NOT BC, and doing very well. To his credit, he attends some Crusader basketball and football games with us.

Congratulations to all of the 2016 graduates and their families (who, I am sure, provided support throughout their family member's time on the Hill).

Our sympathies to those who could only answer "1." While I purposely did not have a "0" answer, this poll was intended for the HC alums on Crossports. My apologies to Non Alum Dave (hey, do you have any cousins or any kin who attended HC?) but we needed to keep the riff-raff out ( not you!). P.S. Does anyone know anyone who has had 5 generations of 'saders? I thought Crucis posted somewhere that he knew of an alum with 4 generations in the family.
