The FCS Coaches Poll is disparaged by some but it is great to see us up there ovah programs like Montana, W&M etc....

Out of the top 25 and the 18 additional teams receiving votes, HC at 25 is the only PL representative. Truly a down year for the Patriot League and we may be in a perfect position...
(AGS has HC and Colgate for PL)

Actually, we're #2 in FCS among National Liberal Arts Colleges on this list (behind only Richmond). If you go regionally, we're clearly #1 FCS schools among Liberal Arts Colleges!   |

A win over Dartmouth should thrust us into all top 25 rankings. While Dartmouth did not have a great record last year, they are only two years removed from a share of the Ivy League title.

Major props to CTG, the staff, and the Crusaders. Great to see the team exerting extraordinary effort on the field while also clearly displaying a developing chemistry within the team that creates a force multiplier effect.
Love the recognition but three games does not a season make.
We're on to Dartmouth with a larger wagon to carry everybody who is now on board where #WeWill . . . Crush the Big Green.

They had a strange season last year. 3-0 non-conference with a win over UNH (first since the 70s) and a Worcester Homecoming beat down of our Crusaders. This is the game Pujals got hurt. Dartmouth then proceeded to go winless in the Ivy IIRC. Man, of all the years to not play Harvard!! |

UNH did open with a win against what looks to be a very solid Maine team and then proceeded to convincingly defeat an FBS team on the road in Georgia Southern. Gotta give them some respect. If we re-matched tomorrow at a neutral site, the Wildcats would be favored. For now, I'm too happy about being ranked to worry about being placed below UNH in the poll. Again, I wish we could get the chance to kick the crap out of Harvard this year. Oh well, revenge against the Big Green for last year should be nice. |

I would rather play and beat Yale than Harvard. The Bulldogs always seem to have our number in most sports.

UNH barely beat a lower-half CAA team (Maine, currently AGS 27) by 1 point on a missed PAT, then hung on to defeat an awful FBS team (125 of 130 in CBS FBS poll), and just got whupped by us. Seems to me we should be ranked above them...at least at some point.
URI had a triple OT loss to a pretty good Central Michigan FBS team (currently 89 of 130 in CBS FBS poll), lost to an underrated and talented Stony Brook (currently AGS 26), and defeated a good Harvard team.
If UNH loses to URI Saturday they're in for a huge slip in polls. (And will be under us in the polls provided we win), This is NOT your usual CAA doormat URI.

Wow, this is great. Out of pure curiosity, does anyone know if this was done in-house or if we have contracted a 3rd party to handle this new digital media / video campaign? I would imagine there is a good market for this sort of thing across the spectrum for non-top 50 FCS programs. |

The vids are done in-house by the relatively new Video & Network Production staff: Chris Boscherini & Kyle Coulter. And yes- they are terrific.

In the near term, my understanding is that Holy Cross students will be working on a video for our New England Ignatian Volunteer Corps (may already be working on it). Would the students also be working on these videos for the athletic department under the lead of the two you've mentioned? Or do you think these videos are being done only be the paid professionals? In any case, as I said, these are very good end products.
