Betances should have been traded last year. 29 years old now, has always been too mental for his own good. The bullpen version of AJ Burnett. Lights-out stuff, tough to control, distracted concentration is his doom. Yanks should be up 3-0. not sure what "should be " ever means do the Astros believe that the yank.. should be up 3-0 ? now "could be" is far more accurate, esp in 2-1 games

Virtual must-win tonight. Going to be tough to beat either Keuchel or Verlander much less both. so even if the Yan.. win today, they would still have to beat either ace

Betances should have been traded last year. 29 years old now, has always been too mental for his own good. The bullpen version of AJ Burnett. Lights-out stuff, tough to control, distracted concentration is his doom. Yanks should be up 3-0. not sure what "should be " ever means do the Astros believe that the yank.. should be up 3-0 ? now "could be" is far more accurate, esp in 2-1 games Game 1 = Bird runs with a piano up his arse, and double-steps rounding third base. He scores, Yanks are at least tied. Game 2 = Judge completely botches tracking home run ball at the wall he should have caught, taking an awful route, jumping four feet too early, and letting a kid in the front row catch it. He later sails the cutoff man, Didi short hops a throw, and Sanchez catches it like the video of the golden retriever catching hamburgers and frisbees off his face. Should have not been a walk-off. When you hold a formidable offense to 2, 2, and 1 runs in a seven game series, especially when your own starting pitching rotation has been widely stated as a weakness, you should be faring a lot better than 1-2. That's the "Should."

Awesome win tonight. It's been a very fun and unexpected ride. Keuchel and Verlander will be tough but I'm starting to believe. Tanaka, Severino and CC aren't exactly slouches. Well, CC might be but he's also a good pitcher when the chips are down.

Yankees beat Keuchel like a drum. That's baseball, Suzyn. 4-0 underdogs after 5.

The starters for both clubs are staying out of the middle of the zone... Smoltz makes good point about 'good takes'... puts pressure on pitchers

This Yankee teamhas been more fun to watch this year than any time since 1996. There seems to be a real joy on this team that is contagious. Also, with all the criticism of Joe Girardi's in-game coaching in the ALDS, it would be hard to vote against him as AL manager of the year with how far he has taken this very young team.

Nothing better than a Game 7. Yankees pitching is set up better but I don't love that they let Altuve and Correa get hot last night. Should be fun.

Probably the latter. I have learned a new respect for Altuve's game in all phases. However, we'll see how well the Astros can keep the Yankee hitters off the board. They have done it for 3 games (limiting the Yanks to one run in each, but if the Yankees get 2 or more, they seem to take the game (and in is case the American League Championship - or whatever it is called now). Whatever the final outcome, I expect a great game from both teams.

'Stros have a chance to break something.
Third longest streak of not winning the World Series (well to be exact, never have won), behind only the Indians and the Senators/Rangers.
In terms of that, the worst expansion has to be the 69 one...still no titles for the Padres, Pilots/Brewers nor the Expos/Nats.

Tough thing for Yankees to swallow, they shouldn't have been playing the Astros in the first place. The Astros should been in the NLCS. Back in the 90's when baseball expanded from 28 to 30 teams and they wanted a new team in each league, they bumped the Brewers from the AL to the NL because having an odd number of teams in each league was a bad idea. A couple of years ago the league office forgot that 15 teams in each league totally screws up the schedule and moved the Astros to the AL (where they were around to knock the Yankees out of the World Series
