Big break on that catch and fumble on the 3-yard line. Ball was clearly out before he went down and was recovered by Fordham. Oh well. Just some karmic repayment for an otherwise rough season. another precint chiming in. I thought it should have been ruled incomplete! Wonder if the NFL rule is different from NCAA in that regard? It was a catch and fumble. Fordham player recovered it but his foot was on the out of bounds line so we kept possession.

Great win. Started out poorly with lots of defensive penalties on the first Ram possession but McBeath's recovered fumble for TD made it look like it'd be a Purple day only to see the Rams score two TDs.
Went downhill for them from there losing two QBs to injuries and Peter's legs as much as his arm helped win this game. The loss to Lafayette was a killer as much as the loss to Colgate was an embarrassment. So glad that the seniors seem to want to lead the team to a respectable finish. Would be great to cap it with a win at Lehigh.

Haven't gone 4-2 in the PL since the 2011 season. Would be sweet to beat Lehigh next week.

A win next week also gives HC a winning record in the Patriot League...heck, it could be a start!

HC could beat Lehigh next week....their D has been horrific most of the year.
Glad to see the team finish the year on an up note....but it's hard to not think of the coulda, woulda, shouldas of this program this year and the last few seasons.
What's done is done....onward and upward!

What happens if we win next week and ‘gate loses? Assuming they beat Georgetown, ‘gate wins the league because they beat us I guess. Only chance to win PL is for ‘gate to crumble and us to win out.

What happens if we win next week and gate loses? Anything? Hopefully the sun would come up and life would go on. Other than that, I think we're screwed in terms of head to head, overall record etc....but I defer to the PL rules expert people/lawyers amongst us.

What happens if we win next week and gate loses? Gate wins the league because they beat us I guess. It would get more complex than that, since Lehigh and Lafayette would still be in the picture as well.

What, if any, mathematical permutation of wins and loses gives us the PL title?
Weirder things have happened.

There was actually a scenario going into this week that if 9 league games went a certain way, the PL would have 7 teams tied at 3-3.
Unless Lehigh slips up against us and the Pards...they win. Colgate probably won't lose again either as they play Lafayette and GTown.
Nevah say nevah...but I think we'll be on the outside looking in....again.

At best, we can be 4-2. 'gate, Laffy and Lehigh are 3-1. We know the last 2 play each other, so one of them has to lose at least one more game. We gotta hope for another team being 4-2 and we get a tie-breaker. So, any team that beat us (Laffy and 'gate) would beat us if they have a 4-2 record also. Gotta hope 'gate loses its last two games. f they split or win both, they are probably the champs.
So, gotta hope 'gate loses 2. We beat Lehigh and Lehigh beats Laffy. I think that would do it. Piece a cake, right?
