Why can't we find a successful football coach with a similar record?

AU gets its first win of the year, coming back after blowing a 19-point second half lead at New Hampshire to beat the Wildcats, 74-70. The Eagles were up 56-37 with 15 and a half minutes to go when UNH went to a zone, which stymied the Eagles for a dozen possessions--AU went nine minutes without a field goal--and the Wildcats stormed back with a 24-2 run, taking a three-point lead with seven minutes left. But AU held UNH without a field goal in those last seven minutes, got two huge threes from junior guard Larry Motuzis (20 points) in the last three minutes to tie it, then made four big free throws in the last 1:23 to win it. Sa'eed Nelson led AU with 26 points and 8 rebounds--of course, playing all 40 minutes.

Decent performance thus far from the league. Against "peer conferences" (CAA, MAAC, NEC, AE, and Ivy) the league is 11-9. Some nice opportunities to pick up wins today.
The PL is --
0-11 against the top 100 4-8 against 101-200 4-3 against 201-300 4-0 against 301+
3-0 against non-D1

I think it was a 30-4 BC run to turn a 17 point deficit into the lead for the Eagles. Burns who I just found out was a freshman was good but Sean O'Brien and Jordan Swopshire will cause some trouble in the Patriot League this year.

Bucknell won 87/83 Birdsong announcer said may have been some home cooking , right Bison137
Ball State write up And maybe this is nitpicking, because Ball State has not gotten the breaks in those two games and certainly played well enough to win. On this night, it seemed like the calls went against the Cardinals late, which isn't unusual as the visiting team. Trey Moses did not agree with two late foul calls on him, and Ball State coach James Whitford was especially irate after Kyle Mallers fouled out while setting a screen. He took his tie off and threw it behind the bench. The Cardinals had 28 fouls on the night.
