Seems like we have MAJOR lapses in effort. Really? Why do you say that? We are two points out of first place in the league. We could have won each of the games we played this season. I think the only game we haven't been "in" was the 3-0 L at RMU. Average shots are about even at 31-32 a game, but our PP has struggled in comparison to our opponents. Just watching the games, we have stretches when we lose the 50/50 puck battles. We we are playing well, the players support each other in the corners, and force turnovers from the forecheck. Right now it looks like we play a 1-2-2 low with one guy in there but at times we send 2 deep for a 2-1-2. I think we have been more effective with 2 guys deep...or at least the weak side winger supporting the strong side center/winger who is in low on the forecheck.
