these are the two worst defensive teams in the league in fg%. HC giving up 41 pct to opponents and Loyola worse at 45 pct. Loyola is 0-3 in the league and lost those games by a combined 55 points, but they were against 3 of the better teams in the league, Navy, Army and Boston U.
Our schedule get much tougher after this, so I'd say this is a very important game.

I would agree. I can't get past Loyola's two wins against two of the better PL teams. A won here could be huge for HC and give the team a much needed boost, but (even though I picked Holy Cross) I am not sure it will happen.

Is Murphy injured or just not a college level ballplayer yet? Noticed she only has been in one game, remember her from hs.

I believe that she had foot/ankle surgery due to pre-season injury, I saw her wearing a boot, which may be delaying her progress.

I guess most of us didn't want to even admit to another disappointing performance - never led in the game, down by double digits throughout to a team that had won only one game since nov 10th. because of the icy weather in Baltimore this game was played in an empty gym. like most PL games, no home court advantage to speak of

for those of you that like to look at the youth on the floor sometimes, that's not the case with our team. Gibbons' team is not delivering despite having all sorts of experience on the floor. last night - all seniors: Th-Waheed 29 mins, Byrne 27, Doherty 26 (along with Manis' usual 35). Talent level is simply not there with this team, and we obviously don't have better players on the bench, or they'd be playing. Contrary to the men's prospects going forward, there might not be much reason for optimism for next year either.
Navy brings a 12-3 overall (2-2 PL) record to the Hart on Thursday night. Can our experienced team get this one ?
