Second point...absolutely. First point...I posted cheers after game one, but also that I hoped HC could sweep. I think we have the talent to do it, but I have seen the team so infrequently I have trouble understanding why, after playing so well in game one, it seems to be hard for us to nail down a pair of wins.

The perspective is that people who love to bash after a loss are nowhere to be found after wins. Not to mention that given the state of affairs of the athletic programs, a tie for first place in ANY sport should be applauded. Why should people lower the bar for hockey because other teams may stink? I think people have been very consistent about hockey and are not getting overly excited about a 2-game sweep of a series in October when the team is 1-6 and hasn't advanced in 3 playoff appearances under the new coach (including 0-4 by a combined score of 14-6 over the past two years).
