5 points in a half is ridiculous. Have to respect UConn’s commitment on the defensive end.

the AAC is a total waste for Uconn Would any other conference really challenge the UConn women? Uconn would win the Big East or the SEC,, probably easily, but they would not have many/any games where their opponent with a winning record would score 5. In a half.

Cincinnati scored while I was watching. Those were their first points since around the five minute mark of the first quarter. There was a game last week with a similar stretch.

Have to remember that although they also dominated in a similar fashion last season, as an undefeated team, they lost in the semis.

Holy Cross also wouldn't to lose by Navy at home where they got their score doubled. It's silly to look at one game throughout the course of a season and make a sweeping statement. What UConn did to Cincinnati (a decent team), I'm sure could have happened to a similar team in either the Big East or SEC. Don't know who that is as I don't follow women's basketball.

I am not looking at one game, but their entire season, in fact their whole time in that AAC excuse for a conference. It has Killed Kevin Ollie’s recruiting and will likely cost him his job.

Have to remember that although they also dominated in a similar fashion last season, as an undefeated team, they lost in the semis. When healthy and motivated, this year's UConn team is a lot better than last year's. Not only did they return, 9 of their top 10 players but they added a 6-6 transfer from Duke who was All-American there. Also added the nation's top HS player.

Mick Cronin and Kelvin Sampson are doing fine. The AAC ranks 8th in conference RPI in the women's game, while the Big East is 7th. Ollie is going to lose his job because he's not a very good coach.

A 9 point game with Notre Dame, a 4 point game with Texas, 11 point one with Louisville. I believe they were healthy for those games. If they were not motivated, that was their own fault. They may be better, than last season, but that does not mean they cannot be upset in the tourney.

Don't forget Wichita too. I'm sure UConn would rather be like Navy and be in the Big East for everything except football.

I was looking only at the top 10 teams. Notre Dame and Louisville were competitive with Uconn.

South Florida played Uconn tough, lost by 16 in the final Well, they were #19 in the country. They shouldn't have gotten annihilated. FYI 5 SEC teams in the Top 25; 7 ACC teams. A bit top-heavy, I would say.

South Florida played Uconn tough, lost by 16 in the final Score is a bit misleading however. UConn led by 23 points after three quarters and then coasted home, giving up some of the lead down the stretch. Last game vs USF they led by 27 points after three and won by 29 points.

Geno was a bit worried at the end and put in a hurt Gabby W when the lead was cut to 12 Lead was never down to less than 14 points - and that with 4 minutes left. Geno often puts starters back in not because he is worried but because he is annoyed at a sub not playing the game the right way. In this case, he yanked Azura Stevens immediately after she fouled a 3-point shooter, leading to a 4-point play. As for Williams, she had a minor injury a few days ago and was cleared to play unlimited minutes.

Did you see Williams limp to the sideline, then to the locker room ? Should Gabby have been playing with a 14 point lead with 3 mins left ?
