I am not sure if Dean Wormer faces the same difficulty as I do as administrator of another Free Forums board. On my board, when people forget their passwords, it is a bear trying to get back in and the system is definitely not user-friendly. I have had at least two say that they regretfully give up. But they are my classmates and, like me, not very technically proficient.
I wonder if this is a reason for some of the M.I.A.s?
KEEP THE CRUSADER . . . . you can have the sword, KEEP THE LANCE!!!
When I tried to reset my password, since I have no idea what it is, there was no response from the pro board people
Did you check your spam folder? Sometimes those messages get lumped in there and with most of the internet-based email providers (yahoo, gmail, etc.), the contents of your spam folder is continually deleted. I know I've missed emails this way.

If it's the poster I think you're referring to, on September 14, a message was sent to the e-mail account associated with the request - about 2 days after the poster submitted the registration.
I have yet to recieve an answer to my e-mail.
Of course, that poster set up a g-mail account which matches the poster's username, so my guess is he didn't didn't want to use his real e-mail, set up a new g-mail for his registration and does not check it. But that's just my read of the situation.
