That may be why he is able to make the visit to HC.

Not trying to censor anyone, say what you want; but do you think it's smart for potential recruits and parents to open up a message board and see topics like "carmody must go"?

An important refection, Tim. Remember there are some posters who are merely passing on messages that were written in stone on a mountaintop...or at least making their opinions seem that way.

Another "opportunity to play?" Boy, we can sure use another 6-3 guard. . . .

We’re back to the “opportunity to play” thing again, huh?

I saw Justin Vander Bann play, Alex's cousin, a 7 footer..He is a junior, very thin and not very physical..He does have some solid post moves, but doesn't play very big..He has a nice looking face up jump shot, but doesn't have and ups...On D he doesn't have good feet or quickness...He would be a project player as he looks right now...I can't see him getting much D-1 attention..

JVB currently has offers from BC, Iona, Stetson, and East Carolina. He will not want for more suitors.

Mostly agree w/your assessment DiMarz. Saw him play a few weeks ago at a tournament at Rockport HS. I'll add that closer to basket he is, the better his footwork and movement is. Has a very good stroke and passed the ball very good. At BC/ACC level, he'll need to bulk up to contribute at other than the 3. At the level of his other offers and less than P6 he'll be more than ready to play 2 yrs from now.

Kolek’s summer highlights

Looks like Kolek can really shoot it (lefthander) with a quick release. Didn’t see him take it to the hoop, pass or ball handle much on the film clip.
Not sure what he does much differently/better than Wade. Would like to see LeSann’s spot filled by a big, particularly if we don’t land a big with Perkins’ scholarship.

We don't need another 6'3 guard. we need big men who can rebound.
