I think it shows that the Hart Center despite its shortcomings isn't that off size-wise when a better conference has it's tournament at a venue that isn't much larger.

Some of the new on campus arenas in the northeast that have opened in the last decade:
The 5,000 seat arena at UMBC that opened in 2018 cost 85M.
The 5,200 seat arena on the Towson campus which opened in 2013 cost 85M to build.
The 4,100 seat arena at Monmouth opened in 2009 cost 57M.

Hope someone does the same for The Aud, which the odds favor being demolished at some point in the near future. One of my happiest days as a HC sports fan when they stopped playing there.

XMass, that would be correct. Hart not available when we were there:
Drove by the Auditorium after Gary Brackett's funeral Mass and advised my wife that's where we watched basketball games.

The Worcester Auditorium's future remains very much in doubt. Likely to follow the fate of Notre Dame des Canadiens (church on the common next to the old Galleria mall) which appears headed for demolition.

No. There hasn't been a public event there in many years.
