A Google search for Janelle Allen shows this: Signing Day notebook: Marian Central's Stoll signs with ... www.nwherald.com › 2019/11/14 › signing-day-notebook-marian-... 5 days ago - Signing Day notebook: Marian Central's Stoll signs with Creighton; full local signing list. Senior signs with .... Janelle Allen, Marian Central Holy Cross D-I I can't get to the article itself because it requires a subscription, but it looks like Allen has signed. *** Can't find anything on McCormack.

Likewise, but there was a write up on McCormack in late October that would suggest she still in. My problem with the Allen write up is here HS tweeter has announced others, but not her

Yes -- sometimes papers will print commitments based on previous information rather than the actual signing.

And to add to the drama, it appears her HS did have a "signing day." She would be a tough loss as they may be in big trouble upfront next year without her.

Also interesting -- One of Janelle's classmates at Marian Catholic HS is HC football offeree Jayden Thiergood.

Little surprised McCormick living in Smithtown went to south shore St. John the Baptist rather than St. Anthony’s in Huntington.
Good to have another Long Islander.

Cara McCormack at 5'3" m must be one ball handler and have a great shot!
Welcome to the three newest members of the HC women's hoop team!

IIRC, when McCormack committed, someone, hoops perhaps point that she was a 3 pt shooter. My only other observation is I have seen Allen listed at both 6'1 & 6'2 but not 5"11. Welcome all & they will certainly have a great opportunity to play as frosh. I wonder if there are more to come in the spring period as I know they had a unsigned '20 big in recently for a visit. Still have 2 shollies available.

The interim modifier has been dropped from AM's title in this release.

We are losing 6'1" and 6'3" starters to graduation so the height of this recruiting class is a little concerning. Obviously you can't just order a center online, so I am sure these were the three most talented players available to HC and am looking forward to them tickling the twine, or whatever that phrase Bob Fouracre used to use is, at the Hart Center.

The interim modifier has been dropped from AM's title in this release. Seems as if recruiting would be difficult with an interim modifier in the title. Wonder if a press release will be issued soon, so that the path will be easier.

It has been a four year development path for Megan Swords with improvement each season so that might work out well. Demski will certainly miss enough games this season to be medically eligible for a fifth year.

Can't imagine two better reasons to drop the interim tag than OT with Illinois on the road and blowing BC out of the Hart Center.

BC went to providence after us and was down as much as 27 in the 2nd half before losing by abt 15 - the friars are not a power in the big east - I say let’s wait and see how we do - AM has a loaded roster and I think we should wait to see how things shake out - I hope it works out for AM but there’s no reason to jump

Demski can be eligible if she wishes (and she should modify her class schedule now to make that happen if she wants it). Murphy I am not sure about.
