Any details on Scrimmages for the men's team?
I know we play Hartford: date, time, venue?
Any inside info on how team looks and freshman class?

Newbie, I have heard the same thing. Coaches have the kids energized. They are looking pretty big. Lots of lifting and eating going on. There are a couple of freshman that are fitting in perfectly to this new system. Looks like Burke and his assistants have a great handle on things. Its a very good opportunity for Burke, glad NP made that move.

Yes, Coaches are doing a great job. Seems like players like the mojo of this fall. Scrimmage tomorrow in Nor'Easter. Lets give Hartford a taste of HCLax 2019!

Nice Northeast'a yesterday. Team looked very good. First half ended at 8-2 crusaders. Three goals by a freshman, bunch more from some upperclassmen and things seem to be rolling on the hill. For the conditions the team looked confident making a majority of the goals off of assists. Defense was flat out solid. Knocking down or intercepting passes and just keeping the continued pressure on the Hartford offense. The game ended with Crusaders winning 11-6. We are checking the record books, but some local historians say this is the FIRST fall game won in a long time, and possibly the first time every. The team has lots of talent from returners to some new freshman that will step right in. Coach Burke and the new assistance have been doing a great job getting these kids ready to play. There was a level of aggressiveness that we saw the last 5 games of 2018 that brewed over to this game. Nothing but positives came out of this game and the ball movement was terrific even for the rain being blown sideways. This team will compete this year as long as they continue to play with the assertiveness they showed yesterday. Tip of the hat to Burke, for a successful fall. 98 days till the first game.

Not to pour water on the enthusiasm, but making All-American in lax, at least in Suffolk County, Long Island, is easier than making all county

Regardless of where the freshman come from there is talent in that group. We had a freshman score 3 goals in the first half and and freshman starter at D . Numerous other freshman played and contributed as well. Not so long ago we had a player from Missouri lead the Patriot League in goals ; not sure it matters whether the talent is from a traditional hotbed or not as long as the player is talented.

Actually this is the first fall where I was impressed with the overall talent. I have no idea how easy it is to become an All American and every class is different, I’ll take the press on it though. There were freshman switching in on D middy to who looked great and were clearing the ball nicely. Also there is a lefty attack that was sick that is very promising, he would have been out there starting. They looked good and the team is clicking. Going to have a tough schedule and they will need some new guns for sure.
