Lowder’s team lost tonight 65-56. No box score yet. Guy on Twitter noted some threes for Lowder, including one at the first quarter buzzer.

My daughter and I met Coach Metz before the game tonite. As mentioned, his alma mater (Pioneer) won. Fortunately, no serious injuries for any player in the game but Wade took an elbow to the face resulting in a flagrant foul call on Pioneer and Lowder cramped up several times in the 4th qtr. and had to leave the game temporarily.
Looking forward to seeing these young men in Crusader purple. Seen them both multiple times this season. In short, they can play.

We should have backcourt depth for the next two seasons at least

With Faw's propensity for fouling and Verbeek being an unknown, we deserately need a big.

Faw has made dramatic improvements on the defensive end since last year and the beginning of this season- he is playing more relaxed. Looking for great strides in the games and years ahead.

That doesn't solve the gaping hole Floyd is going to leave in the front court. And conventional wisdom is that bigs need more time to develop, so even if we get Obidiebube, realistically wouldn't expect him to help much for 1-2 years. If we don't get him, the expectations for Hargis and Verbeek increase exponentially in 2019-20.
