Colgate in a low-scoring game. Rain, breezy, and cold. Lafayette Neither team can run. Miserable weather in the Bronx. Narrow edge to the 'pards. HC Only if Alexander and Oliver have big days. Would like to see more of Bruno.

If the weather and field are as I expect (Dartmouth '66-like), I hope that Cozier does not start and instead Oliver as Domenic is a slasher and needs to make cuts that will be a lot harder tomorrow. Oliver more the power runner.

Colgate held GU to 38 total yards of offense. That’s right ‘38’ and this was a game between the number 1 and 2 teams in the league there’s really only one legit team this year HC was the last team to score a TD vs. the ‘gate defense

No offense to Colgate but they have had very favorable scheduling so far. Beat UNH 10-3 who didn't have their QB. Beat a struggling W&M team. Furman game cancelled.
No doubt a solid team...but kind of hard to get a read on just how good. Their Army game to end the season will be interesting.

I was thinking the same thing...but any time nowadays a PL team goes 2-0 v CAA (no matter how weak the particular CAA teams are or are not) gotta give ‘em credit. I’m too lazy to see how many (if any) of their wins are against teams now .500 or better.. They should be 10-0 when they face off v West Point. Colgate may get a home game 1st round if things line up for them.

Will try and get next week up in between Sox games...
Colgate could be 9-0, not 10-0...only 10 games total due to Furman cancellation.

Will try and get next week up in between Sox games... Colgate could be 9-0, not 10-0...only 10 games total due to Furman cancellation. That's right, 10-0 if they run the table (including the last game v West Point). I read a prediction last week that Colgate could possibly host an opening round game and the prediction was v SBU. (Since SBU missed a field goal as time expired to lose to JMU by just 3 earlier today, I don't think this is a matchup Colgate would survive...even at their place.)
