Can we "save" some points? I prefer we become so good that we approach this score every week, hopefully.

So this is what the Duffner era was like.
What seemed to be the worst HC offense since the start of the Gilmore era has today put up the most points in a game since the 2007 squad beat Lehigh 59-10 in Bethlehem. Engineers look like they can't get to the bus soon enough.

The stats will be unreal on this game. How long until people are posting that HC did not look that good. This was only because Lehigh was awful?

Let's remember that Lehigh had 6 people pick them on Crossports to win this game. Really?

I think Dodger Stadium looked worse than the Fitton Field turf does right now.

Pretty nice win, no matter how down Lehigh is this year

Yes, Lehigh is the worst they’ve been in my lifetime, but it’s very good to see the team start to get to experience success in all three phases of the game, and to execute a game plan exactly as it’s drawn up. Developing the muscle memory of winning is a good thing. Nice to watch a game without blood pressure issues for once. Thumbs up from me.

Even when HC loss, which only occurred 5 times in 6 years, the team still looked good in defeat, and fought to the end. Hope today has set the tone for the Chesney era going forward.

Very good win. Great performances by the offense, defense, and special teams.
I was very wrong in my expectation that the field would quickly deteriorate and make it a slog-fest. The field held up very well. Major props to ADNP for spending the $ to replace the old turf.
Lehigh looked as if they were playing out the season. They cannot be as slow as they looked.
Degenhardt needs to put on some upper body weight, IMO.

Congratulations to the team, staff, and everybody connected to the program on the convincing win. Lots of highlights to go around on both sides of the ball. I liked seeing the throwbacks to the TE for the TD and also to Dominic Cozier although Geoff threw that ball behind him, he was wide open. Geoff and Martin Dorsey certainly seem to be in sync. Geoff's line 8/12 with 4 TD passes defines efficient and productive.
By the way, when was the last time we had two RB's go over 100 yards?
I would be surprised that there aren't changes made at Lehigh after this season. But, we have been there so let's take the momentum generated today, and . . . BEAT LAFAYETTE!!
Let's Win!!

Did anyone catch the report that the team warmed up pre game in the Luth, while Lehigh had to go through their pre game drills in the cold and rain.
The Indoor field provided dividends today. Nothing like PsyOps to get in your opponents heads before the kickoff.

Announcers stated that the Crusaders did not show up at Fitton until 30 minutes before kickoff and that generated.an exchange of "pleasantries" between the teams.

As Mr. Doyle notes, there apparently was some pre-game chippiness, as there was at the end of the first half. HC was penalized for the latter.
Several times during the game I wondered if Lehigh had brought the wrong cleats, they looked that slow in pursuit, and could not drive into their tackles.

They still play on grass, you'd think they'd not have a problem with that.

They have an extraordinarily slow footed defense even in the best of conditions. That was true last year and they have looked even slower this year.

I know it's been that way forevah...but the teams "crossing" each other at H to get to their respective lockah rooms is just ripe for that stuff happening.
