I had the pleasure of being at the game today. Very impressive air attack , and after spotting Lafayette 14, the defense came to life . Total team effort, and happy to say that we had a very vocal group of fans ! All around, a great day for the purple ! Looking forward to trip to DC in two weeks !!! Go Cross !

“Just checking in are we still firing the offensive coordinator”
Check my prior posts.😉
We MUST stop running the first play from scrimmage EVERY game with a hand off to Cozier. Even Jim Brown would get stopped if the opponent knew in advance what the play was going to be. Well, that is a bit of an exaggeration.
I understand the wind situation and poor field position in the 1st quarter but I gave Murphy well deserved kudos as the game progressed. Have to stop spotting teams 14 points almost every game.

I think a great coach is defined by consistency - I hope to see more of the same moving forward. I only caught part of the second half of the game today, but the offense tempo seemed to be more alike what we ran with Randolph at the helm, no huddle almost a hurry up with a lot of play calling and audibles on the line. “New York” the bread and butter. Agree - Hope to see more of it.

Our loss to Bucknell is looking more and more ridiculous as Lehigh rolls up the score on the Bisons. The Bucknell QB who played very well against us was injured a week or two ago, and Bucknell has really felt his absence.LOL! Lehigh, who scored 0 v us while losing 56-0, just pinned 45 points on Bucknell while winning 45-17. We scored just 16 v Bucknell while losing 19-16. Bucknell’s only win this year.. That’s what I mean by ridiculous. No way the Bucknell quarterback anchored the defense v us...and no way his absence v Lehigh is why Lehigh laid 45 points on Bucknell.

Impressed by the D lately. The LBs and DBs seem to be playing tighter on the receivers as opposed to the customary 10+ yard cushions for the receivers. Keep it up!

Had the pleasure of enjoying the game in person at Fisher Stadium, a fine facility except for the odd East-West layout. The two dropped passes in the end zone were undoubtedly due to the sun glare, which was right in the faces of the HC receivers. Small but enthusiastic crowd of HC fans. Nice to see the option pass play utilizing Bell. The postgame show on the LC website is worth viewing, at least for the first 5 minutes. Coach Garrett was quite complimentary. Looking forward to seeing the team win out.

For any recruits sitting on the fence about accepting a HC offer, running the table impressively might make a difference in their final decisions.

The PL needs more things like this to ramp up enthusiasm

That will mean nothing if Army does not beat Navy (thanks, Lou)

Believe if Navy beats Army, Army will retain the Commander-in-Chief Trophy as all 3 academies will have a 1-1 record in the series (but I'd bet Army would still rather beat Navy regardless of the CiC trophy status).

Maybe best record wins it if there is a triple tie...and army has that

Use the Coast Guard Academy as a tie-breaker. Too bad Quantico no longer has a team.

In the event of a tie if Navy beats Army, the CIC award is shared, but the previous winner (Army) retains possession of the trophy

Congratulations to the coaching staff on the win this weekend. They adapted and made things happen as the game progressed and all the kuddos to Chesney/Murphy.
