We know the allocation of resources is different for each school and sport, but my big concern is the lack of a strategy to find a few olympic sports where we can compete 'realistically' for a league title occasionally - is that too much to ask ? (so far it is from my standpoint) Maybe the task would be more focused if we could consolidate resources into fewer Olympic sports.

Decreasing sports without decreasing the opportunity to participate in those sports (i.e., decently funded club teams) is the way to go.
