While I’m not suggesting we will win them all, I don’t see a game the rest of the way that I don’t see our guys having a chance to win.

Actually it does make sense. It looks at the performance of our opponents as well as by HC's. SB improved by not losing a game after they lost to HC.

I think if we can keep winning, this'll all take care of itself.

While I’m not suggesting we will win them all, I don’t see a game the rest of the way that I don’t see our guys having a chance to win. If we can impose our will and play our game, I absolutely agree. On the other hand, if we shoot 25 percent on threes and turn it over 15 times, we can lose to any of those teams as well. I don't think there's much margin for error. But, I'm getting more confident that they will be able to impose their will more often than not.

How do we lose ground without losing a game? His system takes the record of past opponents into account. If past opponents do not do well, you can lose a point or two without playing. The opponents who are hurting HC are SHU (2-4 - 3 straight losses after their win over Army) and Siena (2-4 - 2 losses to other PL opponents since they lost to us). If HC wins on Wednesday, it won't matter. Wait until we have all played 10 or more games - this week teams were bouncing up and down quite a bit.

How do we lose ground without losing a game? Logic would dictate that if we were #164 and idle and the #165 and #166 and #167 teams had big wins over quality opponents then they could jump ahead of us. In like fashion, if #163 and #161 and #160, say, all had losses to weak opponents we could move up without playing a game

Stony Brook 173->134 while HC is 162->164. Makes no sense Should Furman be ranked ahead of Villanova?
