That's the kind of stuff that drives me batty and which I think can be blamed in part on the coach. Players need to be taught to play through the pressure and fatigue. Tiger Woods' father jingled coins in his pocket while his son was trying to putt. Now, I don't think he needed to do that when the kid was seven, but the idea is valid. It is the same as doing free throw drills in the middle of sprints with music blaring in the gym or having a hitting drill where there is always two strikes.
Another possibility is that the line changes were not executed properly. That's really bad, too.

actually AIC scored with one second left in the 2nd period to tie it up - a killer, going into the 3rd our frosh goalie, Gordon now has an .874 save % (much too low) - Nixon injury has obviously been a very bad break for this team.
