If Avery can get her ft percentage up to 98.6 she should be able to get into Med School.

Hard to believe that Hofstra forced OT. If HC loses this one, it may be back to business as usual. Those 16 turnovers were killer for HC whenever they got a lead and then lost the ball on a sloppy pass.

Hofstra making it interesting. Y'think? Heading for OT, thanks to poor HC guard play and an unconscious Hernandez-Gil with eight 3s for Hofstra, many from the next zip code

In OT, Hofstra scores to take their first lead and then HC turns it over. Morris gets PF #4 and H makes 1 of 2 for a 3 post Hofstra lead.

Labarbera (13 and 13) is a lot of fun to watch, gets a little out of control, but is going to be a good one. Swords (19 and 11) and, of course, Manis (26 and 18) impressive. The three of them didn't get a lot of help.

If the team plays defense, you may not need more than 3 highly productive players.

I wonder if Swords and Labarbera count as "support" for Manis? If they are does that mean that are also good players? I hope HC never sees an opponent have a 3 point shooting night like the one that Hernandez Gil just turned in. She was 0 for 1 from the FT line, 0 for 1 from 2 point range, but she hit 8 of 18 very long 3s (many with someone in her face).

Manis, in addition to her its and rebounds, had 1 assist, 2 blocks and 1 steal. She was on the court for 39 minutes.
