2007-08. Think we started either 6-0 or 5-1. Lost to a good Dayton team and then went on the road to beat St. Joe's.
Then the wheels came off.

2007-08. Think we started either 6-0 or 5-1. Lost to a good Dayton team and then went on the road to beat St. Joe's. Then the wheels came off. That f'n plane ride to USF absolutely obliterated that season. Pat Doherty and AVB were never the same after that late December road trip. That team was crazy -- they had that great start against a tough schedule, almost got a big W vs Dayton, won their bracket buster game big, finished last in the PL, broke the 5 year Sojka curse on ESPN2, scored 39 points in a loss to Army, and was one shot away from sending a primed AU squad home in the quarters.
