The Holy Cross women (now 6-2 with 5 wins in a row) travel to UNH on Sunday for a 1:00 game. The Wildcats are 1-7 (but should beat The College of New England tomorrow). Their 1 win was a 5 point victory over Bryant.
Massey makes HC a 2 point favorite (62-60) with a 54% chance for the win...a virtual toss-up. I think we will see a better game from the women this weekend. (Note: BU beat this team in Boston by 21 [39-60] and it should not be as close as predicted on Sunday.

Notice how the Juniors have progressed each year? When WBB had their long championship run, it was typical for players to improve steadily, but recently I noticed some players didn't seem to progress much over four years, so this is a welcome sign.

This could be a nice two-year run. All of our top 8 will return next year.

I’m going over to the game. UNH brought in 7 freshmen and are in year one of a rebuild. The Cross should roll in this one. I’m thinking 62-48.

Appears UNH rebuild ahead of schedule. HC Men and Women come back to earth this weekend but both have excellent opportunity in the PL.

Did not see the game but this score is certainly a surprise. This is the risk of playing an easy schedule as you don't want to stub your toe. Overall suppose still not a bad record going into the exam break.

The three primary guards are 48/170, 28%; three pointers: 24/98, 25%. Manis and Swords are both shooting over 50%

Somebody elsewhere had suggested how much the juniors had improved. Will defer to HC13 and 'haze, who follow much more closely, but on the face of it, Smith (27%) and Morris (17%), have fallen off a cliff shooting-wise.
