Well better than saying the earth is flat, I guess.

Americans love their conspiracy theories and the mania affects some people in all groups regardless of intellect or education

Only people that went to Duke say that.
What is up with NC colleges? Do they not teach science?

Basketball players are exempt from science in NC.

There is room for discussion

On a more serious note, if someone seriously believes that the moon landing was a hoax, would seeing rocks - even ones that look different than any rock you've seen before - convince you that it was real

If NASA showed me some rocks they called 'moon rocks', wouldn't convince me. However, 50th anniversary on 'Earthrise' on December 24, 2018. ^^^ Montage from the Japanese Space Agency. As no one had anticipated 'Earthrise', the crew of Apollo 8 were unprepared when the Earth came into view, after Frank Borman re-oriented the Command Module to get a view of the horizon. Hard to fake something you hadn't thought about.
