I can’t watch us run and jump past another 3 point shooter, have them shot rim it, get rebound and score. What could possibly be the reason for that strategy? I wondered about that so I asked some coaches. It is felt to be distracting to the shooter and there is virtually no chance to commit a foul. It does take that player away from any chance at a rebound, however.

It does take that player away from any chance at a rebound, however. It's a high-risk attempt to compensate for the fact that our guards and wings can't cover on the perimeter. When Jehyve is flying off the court as the ball is on its way towards the basket . . . it's a problem.
