Team at scrimmage vs. Quinnipiac this past Friday. Starters player through 3 qtrs and left with 7-6 lead. Apparently team looked energized. A lot to work on but plenty of positives.

No outdoor in the elements. Luth is not regulation width.

Opener is Saturday at Fr.K Field vs. Providence - Friars lost their home opener last Saturday to BU, 8-7. Three other PL teams played last weekend, Bucknell lost to Maryland, Lafayette lost to Rutgers and Lehigh beat NJIT.

No video available (why?) for today’s game PL lax off to a good start as Loyola (ranked 4th) beats UVA 17-9 and last night Colgate knocked off no. 10 Syracuse in the Carrier dome 12-9

Down 5-3 at half. Leading in most stat categories except the one that matters. 8 for 10 on FO’s

Now 8-3. PC is now leading shots on goal 18-7 which might explain the score

Do we have any scholarship money for men’s lax? How much?

Do we have any scholarship money for men’s lax? How much? There is some, but HC is bottom third of PL lacrosse schools when it comes to scollie money for men's lacrosse. From memory, HC spends about half of what Loyola spends. Loyola is followed by BostU, then IIRC, Lehigh and Colgate.

HC (0-2) at UMass Lowell (1-0) tonight at 6 (free video available for those brave supporters) No doubt men's lax is the most prominent PL sport on the national scene - 3 weeks into the season, Loyola is ranked no.1, and Army, Colgate and Navy are all in the top 20

The team probably won't win a game all season

I can't wait to hear what you have to say about the baseball program--maybe we'd lose to Little League #4 from Auburn?

Interesting result. In the first two games, which we lost, our face off guy dominated. Last night, he only won 6 of 22, but we handled them. We were 21/23 on clears, Lowell was only 16 of 21. We committed 21 turnovers to their 30. We won the ground ball battle handily 43 to 29. On the basis of the stats, it looks like a sloppy game which we won with ease. Our lead going into the fourth quarter was 9-2.
Good win for the good guys.
