That was followed by a 7-0 Laf run to end the quarter. Second quarter has been about even. Laf now has an 18=16 edge in rebounding and leads the game 25-21

Lafayette leafs 27-26 a the half - Manis with 10 including a 3 at the 2nd qtr buzzer. We're making the Leopards look pretty good in a game we desperately need.

HC wins 56-53 in OT. Good FTs at the end save the day.

We survive this one 56-53 in ot - really lousy basketball - we shot 26% from the field (18 of 69) and 19% from 3 (4 of 21). Can't understand how this club just doesn't function very well. Manis simply does not dominate games as she used to. She had 19 and 11 today but shot only 6 of 23 from the field including 1 of 5 from 3.

Nice win in OT by the Lady Saders who made their free throws and rebounded well in the extra session. We were treated to an excellent show at halftime by the McInerney Irish School of Dance!

rgs318, They’re always a pleasure to watch and are a fixture at the annual HC Women’s Basketball Pink Day for cancer awarenes. The day has special meaning for Coach Mac and her family. Her late sister was the founder of the McInerney School of Irish Dance. Thankfully the dancing tradition continues.

Official attendance was 888. Does that seem about right?

'announced' attendance at college sports events is largely 'fake news' and HC is right up there.

From my seat high above court side, there was a very good crowd in the lower sections. In the good ole days, a Saturday afternoon crowd would average over/under 1200. When the McInerney dancers are in the Hart, there’s usually an above average crowd by today’s standards. That was the case yesterday. With about 50 dancers and their parents and family members in attendance, my estimate would between 600 to 700. If they count the band and cheer team, then add about another 50.
