Andre Sale to Henderson State. Far cry away from HC or Texas Tech. Note- He will be a grad transfer Looks like Sale went on clearance.

Had lunch today with a good friend who is a Clemson alum (and who was at the game in New Orleans). Clemson's number 2 QB is leaving, caught in a numbers game between Trevor Lawrence returning as the starter, and an incoming freshman who is ranked #1 prospect in the country.
As an aside, he bought plane tickets and secured hotel reservations in New Orleans in mid-October, in an expectation that Clemson might be there. If not, his fallback was to rebook the flights and attend a jazz festival in March. He said there were few LSU fans to be seen in New Orleans the weekend before the game; most drove down on game day.

I can only think of one qb (Matt Cassel) that basically sat his entire college career, then played on Sundays.
Can't blame the Clemson kid for leaving.

Plenty of examples of guys who sat on the bench for 3 years before getting the chance (Brady for one). Even rarer is the QB who sits on the bench all throughout HS and then goes on to star in DI (Dom Randolph). At RB, Peyton Hillis was the third back at Arkansas behind Darren McFadden and Felix Jones before going on to have multiple 100 yard games with the Broncos and Browns.

I'm sure there is "room" left for a transfer QB but with 2 returning starters and 2 touted underclassmen in the ranks, it'll be interesting who we may be looking at and who would want to step into that situation.
