Interesting situation at Richmond.
Chris Mooney's seat has lava oozing out of it, and I imagine he will be fired after they lose in the A10 tournament.
The Richmond AD is John Hardt, former Bucknell AD. I wouldn't be surprised -- assuming Mooney is fired -- that Hardt hires Nathan Davis.
I wonder, also, if Dave Paulsen could be a possibility.

Hardt supposedly was looking at Davis, but the players and at least one major donor want to give Mooney another year, at least according to one poster on the A10 board. He added that Mooney's buyout this year would be $3.6 million. Supposedly, he'll be back no matter how they do in the tournament.

I suppose you’ve got to make the NCAAT at some point, but that’s tough for Tony Shaver who I believe is a good coach. He just finished his sixth straight above .500 season in the CAA. That’s no easy feat.
Be interesting to see who the Tribe get — it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s a lesser coach compared to Shaver.

Along with Mitch Henderson at Princeton, Mooney has been a pretty successful practitioner of the P.O over the years. Like most other P.O. teams, the Spiders haven't generally rebounded well - but when they've been successful, his teams have been good+ defensively. They've been really poor at that end the last two seasons.

UR’s top five this year were three sophs and two frosh. Plus they presumably get back Sherod , a very good player who missed the season with an ACL tear. He could play two more years. So UR could be pretty good next year and even better the following year.

He’d be a great hire. Wonder if he would try and get a bigger job, though. Be interesting to see if Langel goes after any of these openings, or if a school approaches him. Despite what indianhoop says, the PL may not be a graveyard for coaches. Jeff Jones to ODU Dave Paulsen to George Mason Matt Langel to...?

If I were Langel and was looking for a new job, I think I'd come back for one more year. Colgate will be the favorite next year and adding one more good year to his resume might open up "higher"/ better paying jobs than may be available to him this off-season.

Not angry but actually encouraged in a way.
It just proves the point that with the right coach HC could be back on top at some point.
The X's and O's are important but the absolute key is recruiting. Whenever Coach Carmody is no longer the HC coach, we need to take a risk with a young dynamic personality who is willing to devote the time necessary to bring in some top PL players.

Fordham board posting their coach is rumored to be gone. AD Roach hired Langel at 'Gate Fordham would be wise to hire someone to recruit NYC metro area Pecora was doing OK, had Paschall as a freshman, then was fired, prematurely imo

I saw Nick Macarchuk a good half hour after the 1991 Patriot League title game, a real thriller, won by Fordham (a/k/a the "Jean F*cking Prioleau" game). He was an utter mess; his wife practically had to carry him out of the Hart Center. Always stuck with me how much these coaches put into what they're doing.
