Below are the standings (games remaining in parens). We can’t get a bye but we can get home ice advantage in the first round if we can play well the next three games and finish 6, 7 or 8. Haven’t looked at tiebreakers but the order below is what’s on the Atlantic Hockey website.
1. AIC 35 (2)
2. Bentley 30 (3)
3. RIT 29 (3)
4. Sacred Heart 28 (3)
5. Air Force 28 (3)
6. Mercyhurst 26 (3)
7. Niagara 24 (2)
8. Holy Cross 21 (3)
9. Army 21 (3)
10. Robert Morris 19 (3)
11. Canisius 17 (2)

Every AHA game tonight ended in a tie except Air Force beating Mrcyhurst 4-2. AIC was idle. We can still finish anywhere from 6th to 10th.

Our range of outcome is now pretty limited. If we win or tie tonight, we will finish 8th and host the 8/9 first round series. If we lose tonight, the only way we don’t still finish 8th is if Robert Morris beats Mercyhurst and Bentley beats or ties AWP. In that case, we’d be 9th and travel to Robert Morris for the 8/9 series.

Amazing what a hot goalie can achieve for an underdog, esp in the playoffs
