Any chance he could dress and make a cameo appearance to start the game on Saturday?
It would be nice to see since he has been a positive influence on the team and the school.
At the first whistle take him out.

That would be nice (and there are precedents in the PL for doing that), however, I doubt it will happen.

Is there a health risk doing something (even for a short time) that he shouldn't be doing?
Since he's not able to do as much as the walk-ons who have had virtually zero minutes, do you want to want to play 4 vs 5 for a period of time and reduce your chance of winning what could be a very tight game? I imagine there are some who would call this a meaningless game and would make that call to throw the kid a bone.
Would Marcellis even want it? This isn't Riley Criswell who never got to play college ball. Marcellis did experience D-I college ball, but has put that part of his life behind him and has moved on
Fun to speculate, especially when we're only talking about hosting vs travelling to a play-in-game, but I also think it's doubtful

I would have liked Riley to be able to get onto a D1 college court after his tragic cheap-shot injury that ended his playing career. You are right that Marcellis has "been there, done that" so it is a very different situation.
