Crazy midweek game and a nice win. Only Kyle Johnson pitched well. Others struggled - developing pitching depth is not easy

Crusaders hit the ball hard on a windy day. Fan support is lacking. Three wins in a row.

Can't imagine we are ever going to get many people to go to a Wednesday afternoon game against Dartmouth in early April.

A weekend series when the weather is nice will draw some students, especially when the baseball team sponsors a keg underneath the right field bleachers.

The Crusaders have batted a composite .303 in the last 5 games to raise the team's batting average to .221 for the season. We still have a way to go in the batters box with 6 players who have started 108 games (figure 4 of them start per game) batting under .200. Junior Chris Rinaldi hit .320 last year but is at .163 for 2019---have to guess he is playing hurt. We have been outhomered 22 to 7.

Just checking the last 5 games--our opponents (Harvard 1 game, Lehigh 3 games, Dartmouth 1 game) hit 5 homers in those 5 games. So I don't think it's just a matter of Baylor and the Louisiana/Mississippi schools loading up in the early games.
