DH today at 2 - Mids are one of the clear favorites this season. I’ll be pleased with getting one game here, anything more would be great

Cronin's got game 2. Nice test for him - he certainly has the quality pitches to do well v Navy - pitch count can be an issue.

Well, to be fair, after getting the first 2 hitters on base in the 9th, we did not bunt, but hit into a double play

Navy will win the league, but they are definitely beatable. There is nobody in this league that HC cannot beat.

With HC having a record of 2-3 against Navy this year, who knows what might happen in the playoffs.

Dvorak is 5-2 with a 2.76 ERA for a 9-24 team. Do other teams save their best pitcher for their last game of weekend series, or is that just a Dicenzo thing? Is this like the bunting where HC somehow thinks they can out-smart everyone else by doing something that nobody else is doing (for good reason)? I get that it gives you a better chance to win game 3, but I question what type of mentality you're setting with you're team when you essentially tell them that you don't think they're good enough to beat opposing teams #1 (and #2) pitchers straight up, so you need to save your ace for game 3. It's not exactly setting your team up for success in the playoffs when your back is against the wall and you can't play the same type of games to try and get your ace set up against an opponent's #3.
