Christo Kelly tweets, but never mentioned an offer from HC, though he did visit. Certainly marketing himself as a long snapper.

To reset the deck they currently have: 2 - LB - my guess would be they are done 2 - QB - safe to assume they are done 2 - OL 1 - RB 3 - DB 1 - TE 1 - DE
IMO if they were to get a class of 22 kids they would have 10 openings. Based on strength of position, what's graduating, etc. I believe they need 3 - DT/DE; 2 - WR; 1 - TE; 1 - PK/P; 2 - OL; 1 - DB

400+ yards and 6 TDs for Hunter Helms last night. Seems pretty good.

Mass. 2020 commits Joe Rivers (LB/DB) and Dante Bolden (LB) helped lead their high school teams to impressive opening night wins last evening. Rivers and Bishop Fenwick dominated last year’s defending Super Bowl champs, Stoneham, on the way to a 35-14 victory. Rivers chipped in with a rushing TD and posted double digit tackles on defense. Bolden and Springfield Central went on the road and blew out perennial Super Bowl power, Everett, 40-12. Bolden and the rest of Central’s defense sent a message to the rest of EMass that they are a team to be reckoned with this year.

14/19 for 5 TD and 419 yards is extraordinary under any circumstances, but I have to think the opponent must be extremely weak to allow such high yardage per catch. It will be fun following Hunter's games each week.

Don't over do it, Hunter. We need you to stay under the FBS radar.

It will be fun following Hunter's games each week. The conference level is AAA. The opponent, Dreher, is one of the top-ranked academic public high schools in SC. The high school excels in soccer, --state champions last year. Football, probably not so much. Maybe parents are steering the better athletes off the gridiron and onto the pitch.

Hunter’s stats so far this year are eye-popping regardless of the level of competition. He and the rest of Chesney’s 2020 class are a very promising bunch. In the end, much of the success at the college level comes down to recruiting talented players that fit your system.

Re: Helms. Finished his senior season: 234/305 for a 77% completion rate, 4,126 yards passing, 48TD’s, and 5 INT’s. Average completion is about 20 yards, almost to the penny.
Supposedly offered preferred walk-on at Clemson, but Clemson has recruited a QB from CA who is rated, by all rating services, as the #1 QB prospect in the country.
IMO, with passing numbers like that, HC would be changing their offensive schemes.

I can't keep track. Is this superman of a recruit still heading in the direction of Mt. St. James? Helms decomitted from HC a couple months ago...possibility exists he could still come our way but probably doubtful now...I defer to the recruiting gurus in general

As of now he has de-committed. He hasn't been offered by anywhere else since that de-commitment per his Twitter account. I have heard he received a PWO from Clemson, but I haven't seen any other offers out there.
My guess - he's not coming. Father is out touting his accomplishments almost daily via Twitter probably in the hopes of getting FBS offers. Honestly I don't think it's just FBS offers because I believe he was offered by both Troy and Liberty. My guess is they are hoping for a higher level than those two.
But - usually there is a reason why there haven't been more offers to him at this point. That all said, I doubt he's coming to HC. And there might also be the fact that at his point HC doesn't want him back. When a kid de-commits it leaves a bad taste in the coaches' mouth.
Friend of mine is player personnel for Southern Miss and when a kid decommits it's not viewed favorably by the school that they decommitted from and psychologically they move on from the kid.
