To me, the day should be coming where the NCAA (or some governing body) should make schools choose 1 of 2 options: A) go all in for the business, treat the athletes like employees of the school, pay them a salary and offer them tuition discounts if they really want an academic education, or B) act like a true academic institution, prohibit players from leaving early for the NBA, require tuition payback from students that choose to transfer out to an "A" school.
Call Option A the NCAA Semi Professional Association; option B the NCAA College Basketball Assocation. It will never ever happen, but the current system is a huge charade.

NAD - basically why I follow Patriot/MAAC/CAA hoops, FCS football, NBA, NFL and nothing in between.
I wish there was no age limit for pro basketball or football. Theres no reason Saiquon Barkley or Zion Williamson should have had to set foot on a college campus just to audition for pro teams. Let the men get paid and stop using university sports as a free farm system!
