Thanks for starting this thread--I was wondering what Kalif's status was and now we can follow his season's progress here.

With the NY Giants lacking wide receivers and a solid return man, any chance thy might try to get Kalif?

With the NY Giants lacking wide receivers and a solid return man, any chance thy might try to get Kalif? I hope not. Don’t feel like Shurmur treated Kalif fairly. After the Pats game when Kalif was wide open down the field multiple times and Lauletta couldn’t hit him, Shurmur went out of his way to blame Kalif for one of Lauletta’s interceptions on a horrible underthrow. #deadtome

Byard is the highest paid safety in the NFL and was an All-Pro in 2017.

Some positive press after today’s practice:
From titansonline.com:
“In 1-on-1 drills early, Humphries, Darius Jennings, Kalif Raymond, Joseph Parker, Anthony Ratliff-Williams, Jalen Tolliver, Cody Hollister and Cameron Batson all made snags. Raymond continues to get open and make plays.”
From titansradio.com:
Corey Davis making spectacular catches, Adam Humphries becoming a consistent target for Marcus Mariota, and Tajaé Sharpe, Cameron Batson, and Kalif Raymond all making plays throughout practice. There is plenty of buzz around the Titans receiving core and it’s understandable. The 7-on-7 periods have been full of highlight catches and the young receivers are performing. Keep your eye on this position group as training camp progresses.

From today’s Titansonline.com mailbag:
At receiver, a lot of guys are looking good. Of the group you mentioned Taylor, Sharpe and Batson have stood out to me, and the others have flashed, including Ratliff-Williams. Another unheralded guy, Kalif Raymond, has made a lot of plays as well. I’m thinking six make it. I can get to five in a hurry -- Corey Davis, Adam Humphries, Taywan Taylor, Tajae Sharpe and A.J. Brown.

Tough to be number 6, no matter how talented.

One or two long TDs in pre-season could go a long way with the Titans or someone else. He’s been very close over the years in a bunch of spots but hasn’t broken any really big plays yet. Hopefully this is the year.

Batson injury combined with Kalif playing well giving Kalif a lot of momentum, at least among those who cover the team from camp every day.

From Titansonline.com after yesterday’s practice:
-I keep mentioning Raymond in these reports, and he made it again several times today. Raymond got open deep and caught a touchdown pass from Tannehill. He consistently gets open in a hurry on short routes.

From Titansradio.com:
Kalif Raymond keeps showing versatility:
Raymond has proven himself as a receiver who can get open and make plays under coverage, but also as a potential threat at both punt and kickoff returns. The Titans have him practicing a lot at special teams during training camp, and he is no stranger to this as he also worked special teams in college at Holy Cross. Entering his senior year in college, he ranked third all-time at Holy Cross in career kickoff return yards (1,474), fourth in kickoff returns (66) and seventh in kickoff return average (22.3). He could be what Mike Vrabel is looking for when he mentions guys that can fill multiple roles for this team next season.
