Yup, believe it or not, it's nearly that time again. There is one PL tilt a week from Saturday on the 24th. Nova travels to Central NY to take on the Red Raidahhs.
Same rules etc as last year. For the newbies, just straight up pick the winnahs every week
Week O:
Villanova @ Colgate 12pm...TV: CBS Sports Network
Good luck!

I’m picking Colgate...making them overconfident against HC.

Villanova. When will we get them on our schedule again? Mutually making room for this game on each others schedules not easy but definitely easier on our end. In an 11-game season, they have: 8 CAA games 1 FBS game (usually Temple) That leaves two openings which usually go to local opponents such as Lehigh, Lafayette, Bucknell, Fordham or Penn. Their conference schedule also requires at least one New England trip every year so they are probably not chomping at the bit to schedule another in the non-conference. Just as I'm sure we prefer to schedule within New England versus the Ivies or UNH. Villanova-Georgetown series will happen sooner rather than later if NOVA continues to decline in the post-Talley era.

Villanova predicted to finish 9th (of 12 teams) in the pre-season poll. _________________________ If one wonders why Villanova is increasingly popular, take a drive down Lancaster Pike, heading east. From Oct 2018. goo.gl/maps/hnjCy5cnQcFTt3uR8That same section of road about ten years priorr, it will jump ahead to 2012, but the 'scenery' didn't change from 2007. goo.gl/maps/srDjRSqvKjguZHfL7

This year, FWIW, Villanova opens with 3 consecutive Patriot League opponents (Colgate, Lehigh, and Bucknell). They are also playing a game v LIU (CW Post) in November. Last couple of years they've had talented personnel but have been walloped by the injury bug...I expect them to beat Colgate as they will be healthy.

Nova. Much more depth and they only faltered last year after several injuries. A good CAA defense should shut down any PL offense. They have the numbers and talent.
