Towson and little Flacco must be good...beat Citadel and beating Maine tonight

The only thing interesting thing about Georgetown’s 69-0 win over Catholic is that time of possession was almost dead even. That can happen in blowouts - - in our BC debacle last year we had the ball about 4 or 5 minutes longer than BC.

Towson and little Flacco must be good...beat Citadel and beating Maine tonight Worth watching - he runs and throws very well even by CAA standards. Towson was picked 2nd CAA (and was very good last year). Villanova better turn it up a notch or two next week v Towson.

As a few of us noted several weeks ago, Colgate could very well start the season 0-5 (they play Maine and Dartmouth next).

At halftime: UNH 19- FLA Intl 13 ESPN had it 13 - 10 FIU at the half. Not sure which is correct. Currently shows it as 20 - 17 FIU with 6:00 left in the 3rd quarter.

As a few of us noted several weeks ago, Colgate could very well start the season 0-5 (they play Maine and Dartmouth next). Colgate grad Joe Castiglione was moaning about Red Raiders football on the Red Sox broadcast today. This is the year the worm will turn in the PL.

28-0 Nova before half. Suspect they’ll call off the dogs 3rd QTR Another school perennially foaming at the mouth at the idea of playing a PL team anytime anywhere. We'll take on Nova and stop the foaming.

Pretty sure Castiglione’s son is married to an HC grad.

Duke Castiglione went to Stonehill. Wiki doesn't say where his wife Kiki went to college. But in the photo she's very cute so Duke married up one way or another.

If I'm reading the HC alumni directory correctly, Joe Castiglione's son Tom is a doctor and went to HC. He and his wife are both from the Class of 1997.

Georgetown beat Catholic 69-0 and is bragging on their website about scoring the most points in years. Catholic is a Division 3 program. I would not be bragging about beating up on a D3 team. Just saying... I read via a Georgetown blog posted on AGS that GU-Catholic is a three-game series with the Hoyas playing AT Catholic in 2022 and again in 2023 at MSF. If I were the AD at either school, I'd be looking to cancel the remainder of that series. If I'm Georgetown, I'd rather play a 10-game schedule those years and bank the reduction in injuries than play those games. I don't follow D-III football closely but from what some have said Catholic is a joke, even in a bad conference at that level.

But the bigger question should be, does Catholic U have nicer football facilities than GU?

CU's football field is called a stadium, so the answer is probably yes.
