Honestly, I don't know why so many threads about College Football & Men's College Basketball wind up in the General Sports thread. I've considered moving them in the recent past, but frankly didn't have the time and didn't think it that important but now that you've sort of mentioned it ... It's not perfect, but if you read the subtitles to the first 5 thread categories on the Message Board Home Page, under Men's Basketball, for example, it says (emphasis added): Discuss Holy Cross Basketball & College BasketballThe intent was to put all men's College Basketball discussion in one topic to make it easier to find a topic 3 months later if there's a new development. The General Sports Discussion says: For Discussion of general sports issues related to Holy Cross or any other sports Related topics - pro sports, etc.This is where we might talk about - the HC AD leaving for Air Force and hiring a new AD or
- building the Luth and the new Rec Center or
- anything that crosses over multiple sports at HC, maybe a new NCCA rule or story like the California law that impacts many NCAA sports or
- Pro Sports
So ... that said, I'm going to lock and pin this thread so it will be seen and move the original Calhoun thread to the Men's Basketball topic. Hopefully we can all try to keep things a bit more ordered this way. Carry on. |
