Manis has a very good chance of ending up with 2,000+ points and 1,000+ rebounds. She would be the first Holy Cross player, male or female, to accomplish that. Aside from the interest of her run into the record books, this has the makings of a special club at a special juncture in the program's history.

The team has an open practice from 9-11 Saturday morning. Coach Mac finds herself in a position to secure the job on a permanent basis if she succeeds with this roster. (former coach BG did not have a preseason ranking this high in the last decade)

Manis had a good, but not great, junior year. I hope she finishes off her career with a flourish. Improved guard play, especially scoring and a reduction in turnovers is needed if the team figures to make a run at the PL title. Good luck to Coach Mac and the team.

Jack the Shot had 2185 points in three years. He had 725 rebounds averaging 9.4 which could have resulted in more than 1000 at his increased rate from soph to junior and senior year,

All stats are relative, and oftentimes are comparing apples and oranges and totally meaningless. I try to ignore them.

He responded: "Well, he's already surpassed my passing records." 🙂
