1 fumble all season...3 today. Looking very rattled.

This has gotten very embarrassing very quickly.
That touchdown run was pretty bad - 3 missed tackles and their rb walks in.

Reminds me of Fordham at Yankee Stadium. This is embarrassing. Clearly not ready to play. This is on the coaching staff.

Is there a rule that requires some to say that when HC does something well it must be because it was against “one of the worst in the country?”
Was the long TD run by HC only because Harvard is one of the worst defenses in the country?

A team with no counter plays lines up in a shotgun at their own 5 on second down. You’re basically telegraphing the play. Defense knows you’re not going to pass and that the back in the backfield is a north south runner. That leaves one option - a handoff, and a delayed handoff at that. How is that effective? The defense knows you’re not going to pull the ball out and throw. At least if you line up over the ball with a single back they won’t know which way you’re running it and whether you’re going up the gut a sweep.
Doesn’t matter since we fumbled anyway.

Luckily CD's fumble went out of bounds

4 fumbles already already? Might we see someone else at QB soon?

Fumble out of bounds by CD. Only HC first down was on Crozier's TD run.

Let’s stop blaming the coaching staff at every beck and call. The kids came home back to campus. Right now this is on the players. It’s too easy to blame the staff.
24 points in first 20 minutes is on the players.

The Harvard qb is looking like Barry Sanders when he's running with the ball.

It’s too easy to blame the staff. 24 points in first 20 minutes is on the players. You could also just as easily say the coaches don’t have the kids ready to play. Because, well, they look very flat. If only our offense could play against Brown’s defense every week.

HC better score a TD on his drive or it will be a massacre.

How about a pass longer than 3 yards.

Offense isn’t good despite the happy talk after the Brown game.

76 total yards of offense and one first down in the first half.
Not good!

We're facing a much better secondary, but again we're getting back to this shotgun delayed run game that will absolute be eaten up by Harvard.
Without success running the ball we can't stretch the field in the pass game - It's a balancing act that we rarely are able to stay on top of from a game planning perspective.
I'd also like to see us try to stretch the boundary a bit to loosen things up.

You are correct. Not good.
By the same token all the kids were getting the praise against Brown - and rightfully so. The players need to take blame for playing like this.
Both coaches AND players not getting it done. But....Harvard is also very good. We aren’t there yet.

Take away Cozier’s 66 yard run and we have zero yards of total offense this half.
Buck stops with Chesney.

Probably putting his shoulder pads on and getting taped up. I expect he will play both ways in the second half.
