1-1 after 2 periods. HC scored first on a power play (1st of the year I believe). 50 seconds later, Northeastern scored on their 1st power play of the year for them.

Regardless of the outcome this is two straight fine efforts vs ranked teams. Northeastern is #14

Good tie. Bad blood at end. Wish kid took it to bet on last rush.

Final 2-2. Northeastern was the complete aggressor in the OT but fine Crusader defense. With 14 seconds left, Huskies had a power play and a face off in HC zone. HC able to prevent the goal and as time ran out Crusaders had a last second shorthanded shot on goal.
They played well. A good tie.

2-2 final, HC completely belonged in this game. In fact, NU second goal was probably one our goaltender would want back. The team played really well, PK was much better and finally scored a power play goal. NU turned it on in OT, but HC held on and Eric Gordon made some nice saves. 1-1-1 vs 3 Hockey East teams to start is more than I could hope for with a lot of fresh and soph players.

Time for the administration to step up and apply to Hockey East for the men.

Watched the highlights as I was at HC Saturday evening and couldn't watch/go to the hockey game. Great team defense, which is something we lacked in previous years. I am not sure if it is the addition of new assistant coaches who are able to provide better direction (particularly on special teams) or better recruiting. I wish they could make HE happen before it is too late.
